Rectifier technology comparison
We employ two rectifier technologies: Active Front End (IGBT) and traditional diode.
Diode/Thyristor Rectifiers
Efficient and reliable, these rectifiers are ideal for small-scale projects where basic control and standard power quality are sufficient. Due to unidirectional power flow and lack of active power factor control, they require additional filtering, which increases operating costs.
Active Front End (IGBT) Rectifiers
Widely used in renewable energy systems, AFE rectifiers offer fast, precise control, reactive power capability, and superior DC voltage regulation. Their high efficiency, reduced harmonic distortion, and scalability make them ideal for large green hydrogen plants and evolving grid requirements.
