RHV1500
Compact rectifier for high DC voltage
Combining high efficiency, scalable DC output, and a compact design, our High DC Voltage Rectifier (AFE) delivers reliable and cost-effective performance.
Designed with Active Front End (IGBT) technology, the high DC voltage rectifier provides a nominal 12 MW output, scalable in 3 MW steps.
With a scalable DC current range of 2200–8800ADC and a DC voltage range of 1070–1500VDC, it delivers high efficiency and key grid compliance features, including precise power control, low harmonics, and active Fault Ride-Through (FRT).
Optional configurations extend the DC voltage range to 936–1500 VDC or up to 13 MW output by operating four rectifiers in parallel.

Rectifier technology comparison
We employ two rectifier technologies: Active Front End (IGBT) and traditional diode.
Diode/Thyristor Rectifiers
Efficient and reliable, these rectifiers are ideal for small-scale projects where basic control and standard power quality are sufficient. Due to unidirectional power flow and lack of active power factor control, they require additional filtering, which increases operating costs.
Active Front End (IGBT) Rectifiers
Widely used in renewable energy systems, AFE rectifiers offer fast, precise control, reactive power capability, and superior DC voltage regulation. Their high efficiency, reduced harmonic distortion, and scalability make them ideal for large green hydrogen plants and evolving grid requirements.
