AluXchanger
Lightweight high-efficiency heat exchange
AluXchanger is an aluminium-based plate heat exchanger for liquid-to-liquid heat exchange applications.
The design features shell plates with a turbulator between each plate, increasing strength and heat transfer performance.
Produced entirely from brazed aluminium, AluXchanger offers a number of crucial advantages compared to traditional stainless steel plate heat exchangers. The unit weighs only half as much as an equivalent stainless stees unit and is significantly more resistant to corrosion. In addition, the superior thermal conductivity of aluminium results in markedly higher efficiency.
Furthermore, the absence of copper and nickel makes the product highly suitable for recycling and more cost-efficient as aluminium is less costly.
